The festival is closely connected to the story of Qu Yuan, a respected poet and statesman. To honor his loyalty and spirit, people began traditions such as dragon boat racing and eating zongzi—sticky rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves. Over time, these customs have become symbols of unity, protection, and well-being.

Today, the Dragon Boat Festival is not only a cultural celebration, but also a moment to share care, gratitude, and good wishes with those around us.
